Transparent Language Celebrates St. Patrick's Day By Launching Irish Word of the Day Service

Free service teaches a new word every day through email, RSS feeds or iGoogle Gadgets.

Nashua, N.H., March 17, 2008 - Transparent Language, a leader in language learning solutions, today announced the launch of its new Irish Word of the Day service. The service covers a new word in Irish each day, teaches proper usage with word forms and example sentences, and provides native speaker sound for learning proper pronunciation. Language learners may subscribe to have the word delivered in their email or provided in an RSS feed or through an iGoogle gadget.

Irish Word of the Day joins other Word of the Day services offered for Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and English for Spanish speakers. "Today's language learners want access to their learning where they live online", said Michael Quinlan, Transparent Language CEO. "That's why we have designed our Word of the Day service to let our users study where they want, from their email, in a feed reader like MyYahoo, or in a gadget on their iGoogle pages."
