I have had a ' Swedish brother ' for 40 some years. He lives in Uppsala and has a wonderful summar house on the west coast. I have been over a few times and feel I am part Swedish..hard to do when you live in New Mexico. When I feel the need to get 'Swedish' I go and get some herring and Wasa bread and enjoy. Can't seem to find any good snapps here though. Yes I have had surstromming..whew!! I love your insight on Sweden. I have had the IKEA meatballs and they are pretty good. Their selection of herring is real good also, unfortunatly we don't have an IKEA here in New Mexico. I have to go to California the get to an IKEA.
