I’m a helpless internet addict and as a teacher I’m always looking for alternatives to supplement my classes. While surfing the web, I came across this course, by BBC Online, called Mi Vida Loca. It’s a mystery series and it has tons of audio, video and explanations both in English and in Spanish. There are 22 episodes (it takes about 15 minutes to complete each one) and it’s a lot of fun! There are grammar, vocabulary and listening exercises. Check it out at http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/spanish/mividaloca.
Hope you like it!

I love our pages and insight into Spanish. I have been speaking Spanish for decades but love to continue to refresh my knowledge since I live in an English speaking world.
Mi Vida Loca is a good course. It’s actually very interactive giving you various options to vary the course/outcome of the series. I love it.
It’s really great for beginners. This post reminds me I need to finish it.
I have created worksheets to go along with each Mi Vida Loca episode for use in my classes. Contact me if you would like copies!
Becky,
I’m just teaching Spanish to Y9 at the end of the KS3 French course to give them a new start. I’m using Mi vida loca and would really appreciate your worksheets because I’m not really a Spanish teacher.
All the best

I would love copies of the activities for Mi Vida Loca!
I couldn’t figure out how to send the worksheets directly to you, but here is a link to my website where you can find them:
