If you changed the bike to a photo of my beloved, I would agree 100%.

I miss all those, but also all the moss in the forests - and just being able to go into a forest and know that somewhere in the same forest, there is (sleeping I hope) a bear. And bookshops and always the people and the way they walk , (and sometimes drive,) whether or not there is a path (or road) directly to where they are going! Peggy

I miss going to Russian operas, ballets and concerts.
I miss Russian bookstores.
I miss old Russian antique stores.
I miss walking along ordinary streets.
I miss Baltica beer.
I miss Russian chocolate.

Dear Russian Blogger:
I have been reading your blog for over a year now, and I always look forward to it. I rely on it to reinforce and update my fragile Russian reading ability.
May I say, that if most people in the world were like you, and would devote themselves to learning and loving another culture, this would be a great stride toward forming the ONE WORLD the human race is destined to recognize and inhabit.
Thank you, thank you, for your work and the spirit of love you bring to all of us who are fascinated by Russia and its language.
Peter Morgan, Lanark, Ontario

Food. Definitely the food. Too tedious and too time consuming to make by oneself. But oh-so-delish!
And I totally forgot about those lovely cup holders, like in the first photo.
