Thumbs up for your helpful post. This is timely for my vacation next month to Brazil. This helps me to be well informed on the things to do and don't as I visit the country.

Thanks for sharing!

I have a question, what if you want to stay in Brazil longer than 6 months? What is the likelihood of obtaining a working vista?

Also, is it possible to travel from September-June (because 3 months would go to 2009 calendar year...but the 6 month period will go from January-June 2010)? Thanks!

Hello,

I'm still in Brazil and my first time here. Very nice people and good looking too. Although there are some problems: not too many speak english and my visa card did not work. (not debts and pending payments) just didn't work. Better bring cash.

Good food and nice ladies. hehehehehe
