I give the product two thumbs up for ease of use, variety of lists and for audio clarity necessary to understand how the words are pronounced. Yours is the only Georgian language software program I could find. Rosetta Stone and the US State Department don't offer any Georgian language learning programs and Transparent Language was the only resource I could find to begin to learn the language.
My reason for learning Georgian is I befriended a Georgian here in the US and now want to visit the country and work with Georgians in some capacity
I use the "search" option the most.
I recommend introducing a basic grammar module because Georgian verbs are complicated and the Georgian sentence structure is unlike European languages.

What's your reason for learning a language?
I started out learing Spanish in high school. Later I was stationed in Thailand while serving in the US military, so I learned Thai. Several years ago, I thought it would be great to learn Russian due to the world events of the time. Finally a friend of mine and her family are from the Netherlands, so I wanted to learn Dutch.
What features in Byki Deluxe do you enjoy/use the most?
The required respnses to be answered properly before continuing. The repititive, random Q&A sessions.
What features do you think we could improve?
Not really sure as I found very few issues. Those that I did were of very little consequence. Since taking the Dutch courses, I had a need to learn American Sign Language (ASL) I did not find it on Byki, but the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Society taught it as part of my employment. Maybe it is somthing that can be offered.

This is a very useful product for learning just about anything. My daughters and I have used it for Spanish (of course) but have also created lists for other subjects we needed to remember. It is great for accompanying high school and college language courses, because you can enter your course vocabulary and use it along with the built-in lists.

Byki was a lucky find from a web search engine and has sped up my learning to no end

I must have nearly every tape set, audio and computer-based CD set and book on learning Finnish going. BYKI was a lucky find from a web search engine and has sped up my learning no end. I'm learning far more, and far quicker using BYKI than I was with any of the other courses or material I have (I only wish I'd have found it earlier as I'd have saved myself a fortune).
What's your reason for learning a language?
Moving abroad to be with my partner.
What features in Byki Deluxe do you enjoy/use the most?
There's 2 main parts which I think set BKYI out from the competition:
- The use of onscreen cards and picture usage coupled with the words being read out seems to keep those of us who are "normal" (without photographic memories or rocket science doctorates) to both learning the language but equally as important, makes the words stick too.
- The use of the learnt items archive and suggestions for words that you may not have covered for a while and may have forgotten (stale items). This feature makes sure all the words previously learnt, stay fresh in your memory.
- More Finnish learning bits! I can see from a business point of view you building, then sending flyers round for the popular languages like French, German and Spanish, but I'm waiting for news of more Finnish products please!
- A second program to help learn sentence structure and the millions of word ending combinations which makes Finnish the second hardest language in the world to learn. BYKI is teaching me all the words and getting me 75% fluent, but I've yet to find hardly anything on this 2nd part/other 25%.

O wow where to start, really anything that you can think of you can pretty much do.

What features in Byki Deluxe do you enjoy/use the most?
The flash cards are excellent. I greatly enjoy being able to write the words in Italian. My typing the word in Italian I find I remember the word much better. Being able to edit words or answer is also a big plus. The games are fun.
What features do you think we could improve?
Make it easier to export to MP3 players. I like to listen to the words while I am at the gym.

Never got nearly as good results as I get with BYKI

Rote memorizing is easily my worst academic skill and BYKI is aptly named. I have spent countless hours with paper flashcards and never got nearly as good results as I get with BYKI. The clear and consistent character/word images are a great improvement over my terrible writing.
What's your reason for learning a language?
I have relocated from the US to Taiwan where I have married a native who speaks very little English.
What features in Byki Deluxe do you enjoy/use the most?
I use the basic flashcard functions the most; certainly in terms of time spent. But the tests are more enjoyable.
What features do you think we could improve?
1. The Traditional Chinese characters don't always display correctly
2. Getting data into my lists is still rather tedious.

Byki is absolutely fantastic. In order to prepare for Rotary Foreign Exchange to Slovakia I had to learn the Slovak language; my country contact in Slovakia recommended them free Byki program, but once I began I purchased Byki Deluxe, and it is worth every cent. Not only do you learn words and phrases, but they stick with you, absolutely EXCELLENT!

BYKI is an excellent learning tool, you learn in easy steps. Many useful words and phrases!!! Repeating the words and phrases you have difficulty with it very helpful.

I regularly go to Cyprus on holiday and I have more recently made friends with a girl from Greece.

The fact that as well as learning to speak the language, BYKI teaches you to read and write it too.

For my own personal use, I would like more informal phrases, I still struggle a bit with the grammar side of things and turn to my Greek friend to help me with that part

Easy to use
Overall experience/comments:
Easy to use, step-by-by lessons covering common daily-use phrases, complete freedom for learning step-by-step or repeat at free will. I like the various possibilities of using the pre-spoken audios in normal speed or just a bit slower. As a first study in the Tagalog language I learned what I hoped to learn: daily-use language.
What's your reason for learning a language?
I've 2 reasons: I want to know something of my lover's native language, and 2nd I just like a bit of studying. Languages being my thing.

Flexibility is itsgreatest feature; one can change lists, add lists, create your own lists, and share them. This latter feature is in my opnion crucial. Refresh top ten words is also great, but see below.
What features do you think we could improve?
I think a great improvement would be that one could take a test of the top ten refreshed lists of words. Alternatively, take the voice over off the initila showing of the word, so the student has to figure it out again. Fixing both would be even better!

Love the program. I teach French and recommend the program to all interested parents or enthusiastic students.
What's your reason for learning a language?
I love languages and have always tried to keep up my high school French and Italian. I went back to Teachers' College when my children were grown up and became a Math and Science teacher; however, there were no jobs in those areas. The only jobs available were in French, so I used BYKI as part of my studies to upgrade my French to pass a qualifying exam so that I could take the course to qualify me to teach French. I found BYKI to be an extremely helpful tool.

Relaxed approach to the quizzes. The ability to compare my cadence and rhythm to that of the speaker in the program.

I have been happy with your product so far
My name is Brian, and I have been happy with your product so far.
The only complaint would be that I can't understand the spoken english in the ipod section. Being Australian i find the American english a bit soft and very difficult to understand to the point it is useless for comparing the english to the chinese equivalent. It seems like the words are truncated and it would have been good to repeat the english, the same as you repeat the chinese.
Otherwise I am happy with the product. I am learning chinese because I have met someone in China and though she can speak english very well, I would like to speak her language.
