Three Bears Song Posted by on Oct 1, 2010 in Korean Language

Three Bears ( 마리) is a cute Korean children’s song about the three bears from the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Korean children are taught to sing this song in tandem to a set of body motions. If you’re not afraid of looking silly, take a look at this video to learn the motions of this song.

마리가 집에 있어 (gom se mariga han jibeh issoh) Three bears in a house

아빠곰 (apba gom) daddy bear

엄마곰 (omma gom) mommy bear

아기곰 (agi gom) baby bear

엄마곰은 날씬해 (omma gomun nalshinhe) mommy bear is skinny

아기 곰은 너무 귀여워 (agi gomun nomu guiohmo) baby bear is very cute

*히쭉 히쭉 (hijjuk hijuk) heh heh

한다 (jal handa) you’re doing good

Hi Ginny! Great blog. We had class together and I am sure you remember me from Linguistics. I love this video, it is very cute. Do you know where I can find the Korean “Old McDonald had a farm…”? I am studying Korean and I am also looking for a private tutor. Thanks!
