Couldn't agree more. Love my iPhone and the ability to carry lots of useful apps around in my pocket. Also living in a German speaking environment, so I'll certainly check out "Byki German".

Already have a copy of dVise German Revision, which has flashcard, quiz and anagram mode to help vocab sink in. Also has pointers wrt to sentence construction...which is nice.

Well, you are writing about the habit and you are right, it's cool when you can use the 10 minutes in the bus to repeat vocabulary. There is one app - babbel german - which shows me which vocabulary I should repeat. That's really great thing, I always repeat the words I really need to, not those which I already know...

Well, I have just discovered the series Essential German. They currently have three one dollar apps for German nouns, verbs and adjectives, which cover the most frequently used German words. These apps have some tests that test your ability and it is not bad for revision.
