Today I’m going to give everyone a chance to practice reading in Dutch. Hopefully, you’ll find this exercise fun to do. Try and see if you can read and understand all the horoscopen (horoscopes).
Ram (Aries) - Reken niet op medewerking. (Watch your back, be self-sufficient)[Literally, do not rely on collaboration.]
Stier (Taurus) – Doe iets voor degenen die zich de afgelopen week voor u hebben uitgesloofd. (Do something for those who have put themselves before you the previous week.) Houd rekening met de plannen van uw partner. (Take into account the plans your partner has.)
Tweelingen (Gemini) – Creatief werk zal stagneren. (Creative work will stagnate). Ken je eigen grenzen. (Know your limits) [Literally, know your borders]
Kreeft (Crab) – Je hebt fantastische ideeën. (You have fantastic ideas.) Je sterke sociale vaardigheden zorgen ervoor dat je vandaag krijgt wat je wilt. (Your strong social skills will ensure that you get what you want today.)
Leeuw (Leo) – Drijf mee met het tij. (Go with the flow.)[Literally, drift along with the tide.]
Maagd (Virgo) – Als u te veel met uzelf bezig bent en te weinig aandacht hebt voor degene die uw leven deelt, is ruzie onvermijdelijk. (If you are too busy with yourself and you give too little attention for the one who shares a life with you, a fight is inevitable.
Weegschaal (Libra) – Morgen zult u blij zijn dat u goede vrienden hebt. (Tomorrow you will be glad that you have good friends)
Schorpioen (Scorpio) – Liefde loopt gevaar als u de ander niet vertelt hoe u zich voelt. (Love is in danger, if you do not tell the other person how you feel yourself)
Boogschutter (Sagittarius) – De waarheid is belangrijk; verdoezel geen feiten. (Don’t lie.)[Literally, truth is important; blur no facts]
Steenbok (Capricorn) – De buitenlucht kan veel voor je betekenen. (The open air can do you some good). [Literally, the open air can mean much to you.]
Waterman (Aquarius) – Je kunt alles prima aan, je piekert alleen teveel. (You manage everything well)
Vissen (Pisces) - Voor degenen die zuchten onder een zware werklast ontstaat een ongebruikelijke kans in de vorm van een interessant experiment. (For those who sigh under a heavy workload, an unusual chance arises in the form of an interesting experiment.)
