It is the summer holiday (العطلة الصيفية)! Have you enjoyed it? I certainly have!

In this post, I present some vocabulary and some vocabulary exercises about the summer holiday. I hope you enjoy it!

Holiday = عطلة / اجازة

Trip = رحلة

Travel (v.) =  سافر/يسافر

Travel (n.) = سفر

Visit (v.) = زار/يزور

visit (n.) = زيارة

Tourism = سياحة

Beach = شاطئ

Sea = بحر

Activities = أنشطة

Swimming = سباحة

Fishing = صيد

Shopping = تسوق

Food = طعام

Experience = خبرة

Restaurant = مطعم

Hotel = فندق

Entertainment = ترفيه

Park = حديقة

Enjoyable = ممتع

أخت = sister
ابن أخ = nephew
خالة = aunt
ابنة عم = cousine
= حماة mother in law
أبناء = siblings /childrens
جدة = grandmother
عائلة = extended family
