Nashua, N.H., June16, 2009 – Transparent Language is proud to announce the planting of hundreds of trees through the nonprofit organization American Forests, on behalf of their customers who downloaded software during their “plant a tree” promotion in April 2009 for Earth Day. As a part of their new Green Practices initiative for 2009, it became more important to remind visitors to choose the “download now” option for Transparent’s language.

We’re glad we can encourage our customers to make eco-friendly choices and simultaneously help replace trees destroyed by wildfires."
This year, we have initiated new green practices, which can be viewed at the Transparent Language website. Through American Forests, the nation’s oldest nonprofit citizens’ conservation organization, Transparent Language has contributed to the Global ReLeaf Project to help restore forests severely damaged by wildfire in California. Other green initiatives taking place include purchasing only recycled copy paper, reusing packing materials in shipments, recycling toner cartridges, paper, plastics and cans, and donating paper to local schools for fundraisers.
