US Navy Renews with Transparent Language Inc.

Transparent's CL-150 system is used by all US military branches for language learning

Nashua, N.H., March 30, 2010 - Transparent Language, Inc. announced today that the United States Navy has renewed its license to Transparent's CL-150 Technology Matrix for Critical Languages for use by all Navy personnel. The CL-150 is an extensive suite of highly effective language learning software applications for use by government agency and armed service organizations.

Under the terms of the contract, all Navy personnel are authorized to use the CL-150 language learning suite for more than 50 foreign languages. Through its proven pedagogy and remarkable versatility, the CL-150 enables rapid and effective customized language learning for mission- and task-specific purposes, as well as cultural exchange and daily interaction. The CL-150 can be used on a variety of platforms, including Microsoft Windows® and mobile devices.

This contract renewal with the US Navy means that all branches of the US Military currently have contracts with Transparent Language, as well as the US Special Operations Command, the Defense Language Institute, the Foreign Service Institute, and others. "Whether it's for pre-deployment training, career-long learning, or personal development, the CL-150 suite gives all personnel the technology to get the best results from their time spent learning a language," said Michael Quinlan, CEO of Transparent Language.
