No, when entering your credit card online, please enter the number without spaces or dashes.Yes. Although we try to maintain inventory of all products in the warehouse, occasionally an item will be backordered. Normally, the product will become available within a week. You will receive an email as soon as the product ships. Keep in mind that you will not be charged until your order has been shipped.Currently we are only shipping physical packages within the United States and Canada. Customers outside of the United States and Canada may purchase downloadable versions of our products.Unfortunately, you cannot change your shipping address after you submit your order. If you are not a Transparent Language Online user, you will not be able to use the Byki CLE app, but our regular Byki mobile apps are available to purchase online at http://www.byki.com/mobile/.
Byki Deluxe requires an activation code in order to use the product. If you purchased a physical package, the activation code is located inside the product on the inside wrap. If you purchased a downloadable version, you can check your order confirmation email for your activation code. What is Transparent Connect Online Language Tutoring?
Transparent Connect Online Language Tutoring gives you access to 90 minutes of interaction with real, live instructors. The actual lessons and content will differ depending on your personal goals and current proficiency, but usually incorporate learning activities such as vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, conversation practice, culture familiarization, and more.
A great way to start out learning a language is with vocabulary and we have just that product called Byki. Byki is a computerized flash card program for learning words and phrases. You can check out more information on the product as well as sign up for a free, downloadable, express version at http://www.byki.com.We would recommend our Transparent Connect Live Classroom Courses. These online classes run for 8 weeks, 1 hour per week with a live language instructor. Levels range from novice – advanced. KidSpeak covers basic vocabulary, telling time, colors, numbers, simple sentences and more. Using Products

Byki was designed as an easy-to-use drill for learning material that you want to memorize, whether it be foreign language vocabulary or other facts. While there are many ways to use Byki, the steps below present a simple, effective plan for first time users to start learning with the program.
Learning Strategy for Byki:
- Launch Byki by clicking the program icon on your computer. The first time you run Byki, you will be asked to set yourself up as a user. After that, you can just select your user name and click OK to log in.
- Choose a list to practice. You must open a list before you can use the program to do the exercises described below. (If you don't see the Select a List screen right away, click Change List or Language to see it.)
- After you have opened a list, use the Learn screen to start Preview It, Step 1 in Byki's learning process. This exercise will let you browse through the cards in the list, one by one, familiarizing you with the foreign terms and their meanings. You can also listen to the sound associated with the items at any time.
- When you are done with Preview It, click Go to Next Activity to open Recognize It, Step 2 in Byki's learning process. This exercise shows you the foreign terms and requires you to produce their meanings. At first, Recognize It will be in Self-Reporting mode, in which you have to think of answers, but as your scores improve, it will switch to Written mode, in which you must type the answers. Don't worry if you get answers wrong at first - you'll see the correct answer every time the card flips, and before long, the material will start to look familiar!
- After finishing Recognize It, go on to Produce It, Step 3 in Byki's learning process. This exercise shows you items in your native language and requires you to come up with the foreign language terms. Like Recognize It, Produce It starts off in Self-Reporting mode, then switches to Written mode as your scores improve. See the online help if you need instructions on typing special characters.
- If you want additional practice, go to the Activities screen and use the activities: Multiple Choice, Fill in the Blank, Pronunciation Practice, Word Whirl, Concentration, and Four Square.
- When you are ready to test your mastery of a list, go to the Test screen and take a test. There are four kinds of tests to choose from: Self-Reporting Tests, Written Tests, Listening Comprehension Tests, and Dictation Tests. Each time you take a test, you can see a breakdown of your results, as well as a history of all the tests you have taken.
- After you've worked with a list for a while, go to the My Learned Items screen to see information about all the cards you have mastered so far, across all your lists. You'll notice that your learned items are divided into two groups, fresh and stale. Regularly reviewing and refreshing your knowledge is an important part of learning, so you should refresh your stale items regularly.
- When you are ready, you may want to review your list with the Look screen, then use the Edit screen to add cards, edit cards, or copy cards from one list to another. You can also create a new list, select a different list to practice, import a list from another source, print your list to study away from the computer, or even share a list with someone else.

Getting Started with the Transparent Language Complete Edition:
- After installing the programs, use Byki Deluxe to master vocabulary. This easy-to-use flash card program offers a fun, effective way to learn the basic building blocks of a language. - Listen to Everywhere Audio to practice your language when you can't be at your computer. It's a great way to increase your language exposure and complement your computer-assisted learning.
- If your language comes with LinguaMatch and/or the Lexicon Dictionary, use them to expand your vocabulary. (Not all languages come with these applications.)

Click on Forgot User Name or Password.Transparent Language Online is an innovative system will help you learn a language quickly and easily. Just follow the instructions below to get started:
- Go to http://learn.transparent.com/mylearning/game/modern/login.
- Enter in your user name and password, then click Log In. The Transparent Language Online application will open.
- Look at the You are learning menu on the screen, and make sure it is set to the right language. If it's not, select that language from the drop-down menu.
- Did you notice the Learn and Explore buttons at the top of the screen? Those will be your gateways to the many features of this program. To begin, click Learn.
- Select an option in the left-hand sidebar. Depending on your language, your sidebar may have headings for Essentials, Byki Quick Start, Byki Vocabulary, and/or Reference. Look through them all to see the many topics available, then click on the one you want launch. For an Essentials or Quick Start course, you'll want to start with the first unit, but for the other sections, pick any topic that interests you.
- Once you've launched a lesson, you'll see some introductory information about it. Read through it, then click Start Learning to begin the first activity. Work your way through all the activities, using the Next Activity button at the end of each one to move to the next. (Alternatively, you can click the arrow at the bottom of the screen to select any activity you want.) At the end of each unit, take the assessment to see how well you've mastered the material.
Be sure to try all the activities to build your listening, speaking, and reading skills! If you need help, just click ? in the upper right-hand corner for detailed activity instructions.- After you've completed some lessons, go to the Learned Items section in the left-hand sidebar of the Learn screen to see information about all the items you have learned so far. Your learned items are divided into two groups, fresh and stale. You should refresh your stale items regularly to be sure you don't forget them.
- When you want to try something a little different, click Explore. This section provides a variety of exciting language and culture resources, many of them focused on social interaction. Depending on your language, you may find Facebook communities, Twitter feeds, culture blogs, Word of the Day services, and others. Explore them all to expand your language experience!
- Of course, you can't be at the computer all the time. So what do you do when you want to practice your new language on the go? You Go Mobile with handy smart phone apps. Click the Go Mobile button in the upper right part of the screen for information about iPhone™ and Android apps that you can use anytime and anywhere.
- Whenever you need more information about any of the features in Transparent Language Online, see the online help file for details.
